For Subaru Australia's milestone 50th anniversary in Australia, we crafted a campaign that captured the spirit of adventure Subaru is known for. From concept to execution, I oversaw art direction for a film and stills project that spanned both TV and social media.
With a tight budget, the team managed to maximised efficiency by shooting both film and stills in a single day, ensuring the project was able to create the wide range of assets required without compromising quality. The campaign celebrated five decades of Subaru’s presence in Australia, evoking nostalgia and pride by highlighting unforgettable moments — from outback journeys to family moments and coastal drives and their strong heritage in the rally cars.
Through a visual narrative that honoured Subaru’s rich history in Australia, we created a campaign that was shot in a drive in cinema allowing us to not only show the cars in the best possible light, but display the nostalgic footage of the past 5 decades on the big screen behind all in the one shot.
